‌3L-Mullite Brick Overview

‌3L-mullite refractory bricks(Low-Porosity, Low-Iron, Low-Creep) are high - alumina refractory materials with mullite as the main crystal phase. They are made from pyrophyllite, fused mullite, and composite ultra - fine powder through high - pressure molding and high - temperature sintering, specifically designed for extreme high - temperature environments.

Features and Properties

  1. Low Porosity: With an apparent porosity ≤ 15%, it significantly reduces the penetration of gases and liquids, enhancing erosion resistance and airtightness.
  2. Low Iron Content: The Fe₂O₃ content is ≤ 0.8%, preventing chemical reactions caused by iron and extending the service life.
  3. Low Creep: It has extremely small deformation under high - temperature loads (creep rate at 1400℃ ≤ 0.5%), featuring excellent dimensional stability.
  4. Mechanical Strength: The compressive strength at normal temperature is ≥ 80MPa, with strong resistance to mechanical impact.
  5. Thermal Shock Stability: It has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and outstanding resistance to rapid heating and cooling.
