Corundum Mullite Brick Overview

Corundum mullite refractory bricks are high-end refractory products. They are sintered at high temperatures in an oxidizing atmosphere, mainly using high-purity corundum and mullite as raw materials. Their unique interlaced crystal structure of corundum-mullite endows the products with excellent high - temperature stability and erosion resistance, and they are widely used in high-temperature industrial fields such as glass kilns and metallurgical equipment.

Features and Properties

  1. Structural Stability: The corundum crystals and mullite columnar crystals are inter - embedded to form a dense network structure.
  2. Erosion Resistance: It has a strong resistance to molten glass melt, metal slag, and chemical gases.
  3. Volume Stability: It is not prone to deformation at high temperatures, with a creep rate ≤ 0.3% (under long - term load at 1500 °C).
  4. Environmental - friendly Features: It contains no harmful substances such as chromium, meeting the requirements of green production.
