Description of AZS Ramming Mass

AZS Ramming Mass is a monolithic refractory material. It is made by using crushed particles (≤5mm) of electro - fused zirconia - corundum (AZS) bricks as aggregates, along with binders and auxiliary materials. This product combines the excellent properties of electro - fused zirconia - corundum bricks and the convenience of ramming construction.

Features and Properties

  1. High-temperature Resistance: It can be used stably in high-temperature kiln environments for a long time.
  2. Mechanical Properties: The compressive strength is ≥10MPa after drying at 110℃ and ≥40MPa after sintering at 1200℃.
  3. Chemical Inertness: It resists the oxidizing atmosphere and the erosion of glass melt.
  4. Thermal Properties: It has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and regular expansion below 800℃.

  1.  Glass Industry: Used for the bottom sealing of glass kilns, the filling of kiln walls, the inlaying of brick joints, and hot repairs.
