Description of Mullite Insulating Brick

Mullite Insulating Bricks are refractory materials with mullite as the main crystalline phase, containing a small amount of corundum, glass phase, etc. They are formed by the ball-milling and casting method or the vacuum extrusion method and then made through high-temperature calcination. They are suitable for the thermal insulation and lining of high-temperature industrial kilns.

Features and Properties

  1. Energy - saving and Efficient: Low heat capacity and low thermal conductivity, reducing heat loss.
  2. Thermal Stability: The permanent linear change rate after heating is ≤ 0.5-1% (tested at 1200 °C-1730℃).
  3. Customization: Can be processed into special shapes to adapt to complex kiln structures.
  4. Rigorous Process: Six quality inspections are carried out during the production process to ensure consistent performance.
