Description of Insulating Castable

Lightweight insulating castable is a castable refractory material made from lightweight aggregates (such as perlite, vermiculite), high - temperature - stable materials, binders, and additives. It combines lightweight, high - strength, and insulation properties and is suitable for the lining of industrial high - temperature equipment.

Features and Properties

  1. Mechanical Properties: It has a balanced flexural strength and compressive strength and good thermal shock resistance.
  2. Chemical Stability: Some models are resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, suitable for corrosive environments.
  3. Construction Convenience: It can be cast on - site or pre - formed, shortening the construction period.
