In 2021, XZK Group provided sintered sillimanite bricks and matching fireclay for the energy saving renovation of the float glass kiln of Xinyi Glass (Yingkou). It Is the largest energy saving and environmental friendly glass base in Northeast China, has two production lines with a total capacity of 2000 tons per day. Its products cover Northeast and North China and are exported. This renovation focused on an 800 ton per day energy saving substrate glass melting furnace to improve thermal efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

Implementation Effect:

XZK's sintered sillimanite bricks reduced the heat dissipation loss of the kiln by 12%. The matching fireclay had a low porosity, and the thermal efficiency of the melting furnace increased to 68%. After the renovation, the natural gas consumption per unit decreased by 7.43%, saving about 2.8 million cubic meters of gas annually, reducing carbon emissions by 5800 tons, and increasing waste heat power generation by 9.2%.
