Sichuan Global Insulator Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Wuliangye Group, is a "single item champion" in the domestic UHV transmission line field. The company produces 9 million tempered glass insulators annually, with products sold to 45 countries. In 2025, XZK Group supplied seven types of refractories, such as zircon mullite bricks, sintered mullite bricks, and crack resistant zircon bricks, for key parts of the high temperature kilns used in UHV insulator production.

Implementation Effect:

The zircon mullite bricks and sillimanite bricks provided by XZK significantly enhanced the high temperature stability of the kiln, extending the continuous operation cycle of the equipment by 30%. The good thermal shock resistance of the materials reduced the frequency of kiln maintenance, helping the client successfully commission the third production line. Annual production capacity increased by 50% to 13.5 million pieces.

Industry Impact:

The cooperation between the two parties helped Global Insulator participate in the formulation of IEC international standards. The 840kN extra large tonnage insulator R & D project of Global Insulator used XZK refractories. This product provided 61.92% of the key components for the world's highest voltage level transmission project. This cooperation case was selected as a demonstration project of the "Advanced Unit in 2024" in the power industry.
