XZK Group provided mullite insulation bricks and matching fireclay to Wujiang CSG (a subsidiary of CSG Group) for the upgrade of the glass kiln insulation system. Technical exchanges were held in October 2022, the plan was finalized in January 2023, and products were delivered in March.

Implementation Effect:

The mullite insulation bricks had a thermal conductivity of ≤ 0.2W/(m·K), helping the client save 12% of natural gas annually, reducing the kiln surface temperature by 30℃ and cutting heat dissipation loss by 15%.

Industry Impact:

This cooperation offered a replicable refractory solution for energy saving upgrades of high energy consuming equipment in the glass industry, and had demonstration significance for applications in PV encapsulation material production lines.
