Description of Phosphate High Alumina Brick

Manufactured from high-grade bauxite (Al₂O₃ ≥75%) with phosphate or aluminum phosphate binders, this refractory material undergoes mixing, shaping, and heat treatment. Its bonding phase primarily consists of cristobalite-type AlPO₄, delivering exceptional high-temperature performance and chemical stability.

  1. ‌Thermal Stability‌: Exhibits near-zero shrinkage with controlled expansion at elevated temperatures, ensuring superior thermal shock resistance.
  2. ‌Mechanical Strength‌: Cold crushing strength exceeds 70 MPa, providing robust impact resistance.
  3. ‌Chemical Inertness‌: High Al₂O₃ content (≥77% for Grade-A) and low impurities (Fe₂O₃ ≤3.2%) enable resistance to acid/alkaline corrosion.
  4. ‌Durability‌: High abrasion resistance and spalling reduction extend furnace service life by 30% or more.
