Magnesite chrome bricks are basic refractory materials with magnesium oxide (MgO) and chromium sesquioxide (Cr₂O₃) as the main components. Their main mineral phases are periclase and spinel. The dense spinel solid - solution structure can effectively block the penetration of slag and also has oxidation - reduction resistance.
