Description of Magnesia Alumina Spinel Brick

Magnesia Alumina Spinel Brick(also called Magnesia Spinel Brick) are high grade basic refractory materials made from high-purity magnesite and synthetic magnesium-aluminum spinel sand through high-pressure molding and high-temperature sintering. Their main crystalline phases are periclase and magnesium - aluminum spinel, featuring a dense structure and stable high - temperature performance.

Features and Properties

  1. High-temperature Performance: The softening temperature under load is as high as 1650-1700℃, with a stable structure at high temperatures.
  2. Thermal Shock Stability: The unique crystal structure can withstand multiple rapid heating and cooling cycles (e.g., no cracking after more than 10 water-cooling cycles).
  3. Erosion Resistance: Exhibits strong resistance to basic molten slag, iron - oxide molten slag, etc.
  4. Physical Properties: High strength, low coefficient of thermal expansion, low thermal conductivity, and structural flexibility.
